The tread design also features wide circumferential grooves and lateral notches that help channel water through the footprint to enhance wet road traction.

The tread design features large outboard shoulder blocks and continuous intermediate and center ribs to provide a solid connection to the ground for control during cornering, braking and acceleration in dry conditions. The Pilot Sport PS2 ZP molds an advanced tread rubber compound into an asymmetric tread design featuring Michelin’s Variable Contact Patch to keep more tread rubber on the road during a variety of maneuvers. The Pilot Sport PS2 ZP is designed to combine world class dry road traction, handling and cornering, however it is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. applications to include Michelin’s first Corvette fitment on the highest performing production supercar in Chevrolet’s history, the 2009 Corvette ZR1. Initially introduced as Original Equipment (O.E.) on BMW 3 series sport package cars, the Pilot Sport PS2 ZP has recently expanded its O.E. They’re nice enough and the inflators work well, and they’re all inside a small zipper pouch. You could probably find that part number and order one of those. These vehicles include a GM inflator and repair kit. The other cubby holds a queen size fleece blanket.Įdit to add: I know a lot of newer GM vehicles come from the factory without run flats or a spare tire. I also keep a first aid kit in that cubby. I’ve never had to use the tire plug kit, but it has nice solid metal tools, rubber plug strips, some adhesive, and a small blade. I use it every now and then to top off tire pressure and it works well, fast, and reads true. The inflator is one of the square ones with an LED light. Looked at reviews and product dimensions and found a highly rated portable inflator and tire plug set that would fit in a rear cubby.

I didn’t buy a special kit, just put some stuff together.
